He was basically ripped because something he said could be in the works didn't come true (I believe it was the Chavis/UGA deal). He never stated it as fact, only as something that could happen, and some of the Rantards bascially called him out on it. Not sure I've seen a post from him since then.

so everyone's elated that we hired an unproven OC that has never coached QBs and was passed up twice by his long time mentor for the same job? I'd hope Miles was smarter than this, but then again...
LSU doesn't need to take a risk w/ this hire; too much talent being wasted as is. LSU should be able to hire a proven innovative OC that can coach up the quarterback, not be in the position of taking a flier on a guy that's never done it before.

they have a hand in athletic funding so i have no problem with this... if you are a big time share holder in a company i would want my opinions heard and respected IMO & IMHO FWIW
