Actually. Cedar Key is a little closer than the Villages. Geographically speaking.

BR is a good bit nicer than Memphis. In BR you can almost completely avoid rough areas all together. This is impossible if you live in Memphis.

NO BEACH in Gainesville, but the East Coast of Florida is only 70 miles away. (St.Augustine is the closet to Gainesville and it has an awesome Beach) The entire Florida East Coast is one long World Class Beach! (Including our home base New Smyrna Beach)
