John Rys Plumlee was ahead of Clyde last year in yds rushing...its a over blown and misconstrued stat....Like most in D1 football that don’t involve win and losses...

Are you serious?

Good teams run the ball dude. Clyde having less running yards is Plumlee is the strawest of men.

Rushing rankings this year in the SEC.
1.) Ole Miss
2.) TAM
3.) Bama
4.) Georgia

3 of the 4 had pretty good seasons wouldn’t you say?

It’s not about who is running it.. it’s about having a running game.

You can’t name USC’s running back from this year or last

They aren’t good

Just did.. he was a 5 star coming out of high school. 3rd best RB in the class.

Stephen Carr.

So LSU wasn’t in the top five in the SEC in rushing and y’all are shiting on the Graham Harrell smoke because he’s not productive or prolific at running the football? It’s just not conducive or a end all be all to modern day football...Half of Alabama’s yard this year rushing are running out the clock...They could put up 50 thru the air every game with no RB and so could 2019 LSU. If you can throw the ball creatively down field you will run the ball effectively...This isn’t 1988 where the runs sets up the pass...

You would think that some people could realize playing in a pass first air raid offense with zero run creativity would be the reason for running backs to not be productive!!! Instead they try to defend graham Harrell and his shitty scheme

You googled it

And he’s been at USC 4 years and never rushed over 400 yards in a season

He’s NOT GOOD

Harrell wasn’t even at USC 2 of those years

Worse than our run creativity this year? I saw four running plays all year...

And my point is... Harrell can’t coach a running game.

Vol just admitted it. He will have to be propped up by a RGC.

I’m stating throwing the ball around leads to points as well as 3 and outs. Your defense tires and you lose the time of possession game.

Effective running game leads to winning. That’s my whole point. Harrell throws the ball too damn much and when he does run..... IT’S AWFUL.

Almost as useless of a stat as a pitcher’s w/l record.

I want a good running game too but citing time of possession as a factor is laughable

I didn’t google it.

I follow recruiting and watched the USC/UCLA game and the USC/Oregon game.

Harrell isn’t good, but not great OC. LSU is the defending National Champs and have earned the right to have great coaches in the coordinator position.

He’s had a top 25 offense 3 of the last 5 years and at least once at 2 different schools and you say he’s not a good OC

He averaged 150 rushing yards a game 2 out of 3 years at north Texas

These people were clamoring for a new OC but I’ve yet to hear a name that they didn’t find problems with.
