if you are an adult and get this irrationally angry over 18-23 year old college kids playing a fricking game

To be fair some of these kids are 26 nowdays..
Pop could end up at Texas and Haven at LSU and I will still tell you Pop Houston is the better qb. He's gotten alot more athletic and really worked on his mobility. He's not a easy guy to run down anymore but he throws on the run better than any high school qb I've ever seen.
I can still sling it 50, maybe 52 with a lil wind, playing in the real death valley would be really cool. Who's coming with me? Lol

but I dont see Woodland as a guy we can trust opposite of Pickett

What has shown you that? He played way better than DJ did in the bowl game. I just worry about both of them staying healthy, not whether or not they can play.
Ok im just a good tackle away from being completely good.
In this day n age thats not worth the potential consequences of saying something like that..
Talked down?

They are still making up bs and trying to create negative narratives. Running full articles with anonymous people quoted, no actual source.

Are espn links a no no as well? Ive had a few removed that were linked to espn articles. Or did you just think they were dumb? Lol
I wanna Fong bomb before I get excited. But Shea is pretty solid.
Not that its anything in comparison but I saw some tik toks last year, all in good fun but with guys interviewing other guys on the football team in the locker room with guys walking out of the showers n towels n stuff and I wondered if there was a policy on all that. It wouldn't take much to accidentally put something out unintentionally. Even tho this was and sounds very intentional and completely different. We all know how locker rooms are. I wouldn't even let it be a possibility.
Id just let the portal close before I go public with anything. Its seems it just pushes guys at each position to the portal every commitment. Some, Im sure are encouraged to enter but i can't see us wanting to have anymore surprises at any of these positions we are trying to create depth at.
Damn, Texas has absolutely killed it this year in the portal too. You just gotta hope as a LSU fan they miss on some of these guys. The Lb from Pitt, rb from NC state and wr Coleman from Auburn and LT from Colorado and you got the top guys at each position, in the exact positions of real need to a team that just missed the playoffs and was playing extremely well to end the season.

support ALL LSU athletics but how nice it would be to understand the context of what people are griping about on the Rant

People would still screw it up, someone was bitching about Matt McMahon in the recruiting board last night.

Jackson can really play, I know they liked Finney alot coming out of HS but I wouldn't mind a Zy Alexander type dude if they can find one..
NCAA baseball and in particular SEC baseball needs a big TV deal to get anywhere near the Basketball rev share numbers. I feel like baseball has been gaining alot of steam in the south last few years. We really need Texas n Florida to make it Omaha each year for the numbers. Florida vs Houston basketball Championship game averaged 18 million viewers, tho on cbs vs espn its a significant difference vs baseballs all time numbers. LSU was in 5 of top 6 viewed college baseball games of all time which is kinda the OPs original point. They deserve as much or more as anyone in college baseball even if its not a national draw everywhere. But nationally its just nowhere close to basketball. For comparison with football, Lsu regular season game against Clemson was 10.3 mil last year and Championship games in 2020 averaged 26 mil viewers.

The kid from Hawaii Jackson Harris will be and was his replacement. They look very similar on film.
