is really a sure thing the D gets better though?

no but their offense isn't losing anybody but caldwell and ingram, right?

harvin and murphy return, and they get moody

plus i think cam newton will be a big deal for them next year with a full year in the system. so if TT needs breathers he can rest

but I like our offensive talent to put up some serious points next season

oh it should be a complete shootout

I thought Nevis has played well for a true freshman who didn't expect to play this season. Chad Jones(if he sticks around) is going to be good. Alem at DE has shown some promise. We still have a solid line of DBs.

I don't know if we'll improve but as long we get a good Defensive Coordinator or a HC that likes D I don't think we are going to go way downhill.

i think the UF vs UGA matchup in 08 could be the game of the year

it better be for UGA

they've been "rebuilding" for 2 years in a row. it is a big year for all the young guys who've played in 06/07

exactly i'm not worried about our recruiting, generally. spurrier may not do shite, but as long as we bring in talent

agreed. his name will bring in big players. not to mention we still have the advantage of being almost every louisiana kids dream school.

what do you think he would do with RP?

well i haven't seen a lot of UF games, but when we played them moore got it a ton

his carries have fallen off a ton. i dunno. last year and in the offseason meyer bitched and bitched about how he didn't have a RB, so i took that to mean he does wanna run with the RB more

I realized that about the time I clicked on this thread again.

For UF they will get more experienced, which is a plus. Not sure if they'll get the same talent they had 2006 again, but they are starting a ridiculous amount of freshmen this year.

his name will also be brought up by every coach in the sec recruiting against him

"look, i know you're looking at lsu and steve spurrier is a great coach but do you really want to play for a guy who will probably leave LSU before you. he isn't worried about seeing you graduate."

another plus though is a new CS will have no loyalty to any of the guys on D. everyone will be the same in their eyes. This does not bode well for mccray or cutrera

unless they change positions down 1 notch to a slower position.

bama had to settle for an NFL positional coach

remember though, bama hired mike price...then his deal happened

shula was a last minute fill in right after spring practice

i think they did the best with that situation
