Coaches that want to make a move, especially assistants getting HC gigs, are forced to make a choice between supporting their current job, or getting a jump on their new one.
It is like having the NFL draft and Spring free agency during the NFL playoffs, along with no anti-tampering policy.

They should just go back to NSD in February only. Portal wouldn’t have to be shifted that much.
