Handsome Pete......You must be out of your mama fricking mind! In addition to being drunk and high! Atkins is one of the "Used Car Salesmen" on the Staff that can't coach up their position athletes. He got FIRED at Florida State for a reason! (His OL's sucked and he sucked as an OC) The LSU Offense with him and Wilson calling plays was WORSE than with Kelly and Sloan. Get the frick out of here with that mediocrity accepting BS. MA's like you infuriate me.

Atkins was not the OL Coach here. He was the TE Coach. But he’s spent most of his career coaching OL and was considered a Top 10 OL coach as recently as 2 years ago while he was at FSU.
If we can upgrade we should, but he’s a good backup plan if others don’t work out.

fricking casual arse idiot at it again.
Atkins was ranked as a top 10 OL Coach in college football in 2023 and FSUs OL was highly regarded in both 22 and 23. He had better OLs than ours both of those seasons without anyone on the level of Campbell or Jones.
Atkins was the fricking fall guy for Norvell at FSU last year. As this season proved, their issues ran a whole lot deeper than any thing with Atkins.
We all know after the last 3 games that Atkins is not a good OC, but he won’t have anything to do with calling plays as an OL Coach.
