We would would tear Tiger Stadium down the ground, and hang the entire Board of Supervisors from the rubble before we allowed ourselves to become associated with the Pac 10

This, the thought just made me throw up in my mouth a little bit!

I think A&M is going SEC.

Hope it works out for the Aggies regardless; good folks.

This situation especially sucks because the decision is either going to be really great or really terrible. This is a major step in a programs history and a perfect chance to break away from UT lil brother will likely be missed due to politics

LSU would finally have a real rivalry... No more of this forced bullshite with Arkansas. Texas A&M is WANTED in this conference. The only reason the rest of the ruins of the Big XII want them is because they fear what recruiting would be like with a Texas school in the SEC.

Aggies - The SEC is your destiny. In the Sack-10, you're just a doormat.

it has to be exciting

It is not really the break from UT that is exciting. It never crossed my mind we end up in the SEC. As a football fan how could a person not want to be in the SEC.

As a graduate of LSU and A&M, I'd be stoked to have them in the SEC.

If the Big 12 loses members and a team should go to the conference that fits them best, A&M is the first team that comes to mind and the SEC is the only logical fit.

A&M v/s Arky would be good. College football would get 3 new games with some history in LSU, Arky, and Bama.

BTW, Arky apparently doesnt think beating LSU is forced in the last 2 of 3 games.

Does A&M coming to the SEC help or hurt LSU? We seem to be able to pull some good recruits out of Texas. If A&M enters what are the chances of the recruits staying in Texas and playing for A&M against LSU?

I know the 'natural' rivalry thing is attractive, but I don't think LSU stays near the top in recruiting if we lose Texas recruits and even less chance if Florida team(s) enter the SEC. Let's be honest - can LSU stay at the top with only LA kids?
