Aggieyell.com reinforcing Chip Brown claim

Aggieyell.com reporting that A&M's board of regents denied invitation to join the Pac 10 and has made a decision to go to SEC. Article claims it was a 6-3 vote for SEC.

Also, the AD was not consulted by the Board and was not involved in any Board meetings.

This makes sense. Byrne is suppose to be at a family function this weekend. The A&M System BOR would not need to consult him.

Aggieyell.com and orangebloods.com have been slow compared to everything else with the reporting of this. They wouldn't just post a rumor unless it was true.

What the hell is the AD doing in Idaho when the school is about to join the SEC??? Makes no sense.

It's not like the AD can't be reached if needed. All these reports about the BOR not consulting the AD are plain stupid--yes, they will make the final call but they definitely have been talking throughout this process and that includes this weekend.
