develop any fan following of a particular athlete with them all having one foot out the door at season's end?
This pisses me off. Used to be you'd start following a recruit from their junior year of hs all the way through his career. That was fun. Now you don't know half the starters on your team bc they played for someone else a year ago. And might play for someone else the following year at that.

you were prominent here then.
I registered in 2004 but didn't really post at all until our 2007 sugar bowl so you definitely are not remembering correctly

What are you like 65?
you just said you graduated college in 2005 which is certainly before I did. You're older than me dude, so what are you like 70?
None of your topic diversions will change the fact that you somehow thought a 20th ranked team losing to a top 5 team was somehow one of the worst losses of the last 20 years. I'd sure hate to have you represent me for something important.

wait when did they switch from the guy with no belt that looked like he was coming off a 4 day bender?

either you need your eyes checked or you're retarded. Or an alter more likely.
If you think from 2005 - 2025 that that was one of the two worst OOC losses then you aren't even worthy of discussing CFB with.

I see conflicting seating charts
they redid the entire layout like 2 years ago I think.
Visitor bench is in front of section D. Before the change that was the home bench. Currenly the home bench is in front of G/H.

UGA v. Boise State has honorable mention.
The same Boise team that started the season literally in the top 5, went 12-1, and finished the season #6? Against a UGA team that ended with 4 losses and barely ranked?
Where do you come up with this shite?

that seems like a pretty head scratching and mighty poor decision. Like a long time recovering alcoholic trying a non-alcoholic beer just for fun.

Where the B1G kicked our arse in the bowl season and in the playoffs?
how many were like vs like in the rankings?
The Big 10's unquestioned best beating our ~4th best team doesn't mean much. And Indiana is legit good...I already mentioned that both leagues have big boys at the top that are all really good, so I take nothing away from IU. Or OSU for that matter.

So for playoff appearances, the B1G has kicked our arse.
this is easily explainable. The Big top to bottom sucks chode, and relies on a few very top heavy big hitters while the middle -down of the league is putrid. Compared to the SEC where you also have big hitters at the top but a MUCH stronger middle/bottom. As a result the SEC middle tier beats up on each other and eliminates each other from playoff contention, while teams that may only be "pretty good" in the big 10 skate by by playing horrendous competition.
Look at this year as a prime example. If Vandy or Texas played a big 10 schedule they're both likely in the playoffs

Explain Dylan Raiola’s decision to me
the same reason he's made any decision the last like 5 years- money.
He decommited from UGA for money
He went to nebraska for money
He's going to oregon for money
Next year he'll probably go somewhere else for money
The guy is only somethign like 6 schools in 6 years. These people are not mentally well adjusted.

taking the championship over the guy who hasn't won a championship is a case for blind fandom?
yes, 100000% yes. Especially in this case.

kaylee was elite until she started getting work done on her face.
For me Laura Rutledge and Molly Mcgrath will always be the cream of the crop.

I could say the same to you could I not?
no, you coulnd't. I'm simply saying richt was a great coach. I haven't gone any further than that. I highly doubt that simple viewpoint makes me a blind homer.
Now compare that so someone who would take orgeron over him and then you've got a textbook case of blind fandom
quote:
if you're going to make me choose, one has a ring and the other doesn't. I'll take Ed.
this is why nobody takes what you say seriusly. You are so blinded by your own fandom you'd take a retarded mongoloid that was fired for utter incompetence over the vastly superior coach. I guess you'd take Larry Coker too lol
quote:
Mark Richt may be a good guy but he was not a great coach.
His win % at UGA would rank him 3rd all time in LSU history for guys that coached more than 3 seasons, only behind Saban and Miles.
Believe it or not, it IS possible to give a guy credit without simultaneously diminishing your own team somehow. He was a great coach despite never winning a national title. Won several SECCs and sugar bowls. By your logic, Dan Marino must've been a real dud of a QB considering he never won a super bowl.
quote:
Richt had Stafford, Knowshon Moreno, and AJ Green all on the same team
with a shoddy defense and a patchwork OL. Having 3 good skill position players doens't win you a title. YOu conveniently leave out that alabama and florida were also kiiiiiiinda talented in their own right in 2008. I do also recall beating the shite out of LSU that year. Perhaps that's what's got you on this tangent...

there was nothing "last" about him. Won at a very high clip and took UGA to new heights. Not sure why you have a bee in your bonnet about the guy.

Why so many in the secondary?

Are 100% surefire starters. That's every secondary position. Obivoulsy, more dudes will see the field, but if you're a highly rated semi-experienced backup at UGA, why stay and be a backup when you can double or triple your salary by being a starter somewhere else?

what great timing...i just looked up BJS and they will be playing down the road from me in 2 weeks.
Maybe I'm dumb but when I hear "symphony" I think an orchestra pit with strings and a conductor and shite. I assume that's not really accurate? Are they just a normal band? Or is it some kind of ELO situation where they have orchestral accompaniment?
