first, I don't care how many top four basketball teams are in the SEC I'm still not going to watch* it,
Second, We don't need another team to weaken every one's strength of schedule. Everyone plays three out of conference patsies already.
If this CEO wants to do something with his money to help his program, tell him to hire Pete Carroll, buy some big name high school recruits, and play competitive football for a few years before the NCAA slaps your hand.
*I would probably be watching NCIS reruns like I am doing right now FWIW.

He's laying it out there for the leftover Big 12 or the Big East or some sort of combo if the two. He doesn't believe Memphis will be viable candidate for the SEC.
Memphis BBall will continue to be a top 15 program and the football team has the same potential that Louisville and Cincinnati had just a few years ago. I'm not convinced they'll be added to the redone BCS conferences, but they wouldn't be a terrible addition.
