Show me a cheerleading squad that can summon half the noise that the Yell Leaders can. If you don't think that makes a difference, you've never been to Kyle Field. All this nonsense about us needing cheerleaders to "fit in" is horseshite. Focus on the damn game, and on giving the other team hell, not perving on cheerleaders.
As another poster put it--I prefer to keep that hot tail in the stands with me anyway.

Nope, was never a yell leader, just annoys me when people act like cheerleaders are an essential part of the gameday experience when nothing could be further from the truth.

most fans of SEC teams seem to be able to yell just fine without having some mega douche prancing around instructing them when to yell...just saying

Excuse me but this old hard A s s (fixed your spelling there sonny) Ag begs to differ. A lot of the current students are unwilling to change. I've wanted females out there since the day we went coed. Never did care for those icecream men outfits.
And I've had an SECede bumper sticker since they came out last year and will be proud to chant "SEC, SEC, SEC!"
