Busey...do you really believe Kentucky football to be better than Mizzou's program? You loco, man! Deciphered down to your level...You crazy, brotha!
Man...I hope we get a chance to play in the SEC. I think Mizzou would hand some very embarrassing losses to some very prideful teams.
We can talk crap all day long...I just want to see it happen on the field.

They are probably just basing it on the current contract.
How many SEC teams can be televised in one day. I don't see how the networks can pay more with a limited amount of teams that can be shown nationally.
MSU vs. OM is not going to be national ever. UK vs. Vandy is the same. So how many actual SEC games are worthy of being shown to a national audience for major ad dollars????
I can't understand the draw of expansion unless I'm missing something or I don't realize how much regional games are worth.

Sure, Mizzou would upset a few folks.
So does Vanderbilt.
If that is your aspiration, you'll be happy in the SEC.

So does anyone know how the hell Clemson got involved in these talks? Not sure why they'd want to add them with South Carolina already in the same state.

I don't think many want Clemson realizing that like FSU they don't bring anything new.

Missouri and their traditions just do not strike me as SEC worthy. I'm sorry but their fans look like UL Lafayette goofballs everytime they're on TV. Like it's a new and exciting experience that we must all point at the camera and wave.

It's the game that doesnt exist. We both had to vacate.

They are still relatively new to this whole national tv thing. Before 4 or 5 years ago, nobody even knew they had a football team.

Laugh all you want...fact is that Mizzou football is as good if not greater than Arkansas.
Claim history all you want. I'm talking now and I'm looking forward.
However, you know Arkansas versus Mizzou each year would be a great game. A revived border war. Pea Ridge all over again, but each year.

I can now give some background as to why the SEC targeted FSU.
Slive and the suits at the SEC office believe Fisher has the Seminoles on an upward path. It was noted that FSU soundly beat two SEC east teams last season, UF and USCe.
Taking in FSU weakens the ACC presence in the state of Florida. The SEC was not happy with a situation where the ACC had two teams in Florida to the SEC's one.
So now you know the rest of the story.

I would be thrilled with aTm and FSU.
Please stop at 14.
Clemson? Nope.
Missouri? Hell to the no.
I'd be fine with Okie and Okie State.

Has anyone mentioned Texas Tech or Miami? I would rather take them over MO or FSU. Plus, it would be nice to beat Tubbs again.

I guess the LSU fan who says "Mizzou - Hell to the No" is because he would rather not get beat by Mizzou again.
It was a long time ago. Water under the bridge, right?
But, wouldn't it really suck if it happened again?
Yeah, I'd be posting on here promptly.

According to ESPN, if the SEC expands to 16, it would allow the conference to seek a new tv contract on the open market for windfall money.

You guys should just stay over in the Big 12 and continue to rain down all that domination you've been doing for the past decade.
