Yawn. Two or three seed doesn’t really matter. You both reach the Sweet Sixteen, you play each other at a neutral site. Whoever wins is slated to play the top seed in the Elite Eight.
Your path to the Final Four is exactly the same as a two or a three. So what does it matter? If the committee is trying to stick it to LSU, they could do a helluva lot worse.

Looking at it positively, it will come down to an Elite Eight game where we have to beat one of those other four, who will be the one seeds.
But just like we “have” to play one of them, any of the four will not be super happy to face us either with a trip to the Final Four on the line.

Not just yet. I think Evans is coming around. But besides that, Guidry is valuable as a late reliever because he is not just a ninth inning closer. He can come in to get you out of a jam and is capable of giving you 2-3 innings of shutdown relief.
