Here's what you really need to know. Joining the SEC is like joining fight club. The biggest difference between us and other conferences is the sheer violence of the games. I know damn well that after LSU plays BAMA some of our players and some of their players will be done for the year. And it's all the teams that are like this. Sure you'll get some wins from the weaker schools, but you are still going to take a beating in the process. By the time you finish your first SEC schedule your team will have been beaten to a pulp. It'll take a few years before your team has toughened up to really enjoy the fun. In the PAC-12 and the Big-12 they play games. In the SEC we go to freakin war, and blood is going to get spilled. This is why we respect the other teams in our conference and have such pride in the SEC. Because our boys have all bled together.

Our band sucks but is getting better. We enjoy putting away bands in the loudest section of the stadium.
The latest piped in music we enjoy is this. The whole stadium partakes and it is quite a scene to see. However we are slowly killing it due to overplay.

The funny thing is that our OOC opponents all head home with stories of how great the SEC fans are (pick your team), but the experiences of conference rivals is vastly different. But when the season is over we are ready to beat the snot out of the other conferences.
