What kind of kid picks Texas over LSU

Was he ever really a realistic option? From what I’ve seen it was either the Cows or the Gags

A kid that is about to make 50k a year by going to Texas.

One who likes 150k per year and free school I guess.
Good for him. Terrible for what used to be college football.

NIL will spiral out of control faster than any of us thought.

The kind that gets $150K a year through NIL

He really wanted to get involved with charity work with Horns with Hearts

Pretty sure NDs o line had a similar deal, so at least BK is aware of what it would take to do something similar here I hope, cause we need it. Oh and I've grown to hate NIL already

That NIL deal is not sustainable and I doubt will be there in a year.
Not saying NIL as a program won't be around, but the type of deal Texas announced for the OL won't withstand scrutiny.

Is LSU even top 10 in money when competing for athletes?

Correct. There's no way they can pay every OL that comes in there that much money yearly.

This shite is still in its infancy. Schools don't even know the rules yet. It will all balance out.
