For an older dude, I like em, but every song is starting to sound similar and that voice is an aquired taste.

I’m kind of with you. I like them. The guitarist is really good. Singer ok. The songs do sound the same.

If I did a Megadeth top 20 songs of all time, Symphony would come in at maybe 15-20.

I have no issue with that. You like what you like.

But it is their most popular song by an extremely wide margin.

College is expensive but they are run by the socialists who pay gender studies professors 140k to teach 2 classes a semester with 5 students in them.

College isn’t expensive. The college lifestyle is expensive. Private college is expensive. Out of state tuition is expensive.

You can live at home and get a public college education relatively cheap.

Every person in Louisiana lives within commuting distance to a 4-year college and multiple 2-year and vo-tech schools.

And then there is online college as well.
For being statistically irrelevant, the Somalis sure do build up a lot of cities and countries. They must be incredible builders.

He’s talking about a potential future concept.

I disagree with him, but the OP headline is misleading.

He’s not calling for this now.
Lots of Instagram whores out there ruining the genetics of pro athletes.

The idea that men pay basically a bikini model millions for non-nude content is insane to me.

Paying for content from any chick is sad and ridiculous, but at least I can kind of understand the porn angle. But bikini pics? Lol

I just read a lengthy interview with her. Had never heard of Sophie Rain before. What a crazy concept.

Makes me sad for civilization though.
Yea, the idea that everyone just had it made and coasted in the past is stupid to the point of hilarity.

The whole “Boomers suck” and are the root of all our problems is common among young people.

I’m not a boomer, but my parents are, and they worked hard and sacrificed to raise their family. They were handed nothing.

A two hour fricking video?

Are you unfamiliar with Rogan’s format?

I’m a Poncho guy me.

I like Poncho shirts as well. They make many shirts besides fishing style.

There’s nothing inherently wrong with fishing shirts, but to the point of the OP, it is funny and sad how some people think they are “dressy.”

I was at a wedding recently and a dude had a long sleeve pink PFG, sleeves rolled up past his elbows. Faded jeans and dirty work boots.

And his wife and kids were dressed appropriately. And this was out of town, so it’s not like he came straight from work.

He was the only man there not in a suit and seemed unfazed.

Megadeth doesn't work here because the vocals are so terrible. It at least needs some real singing. That's why I wouldn't suggest Pantera as their vocals are too harsh without reprieve.

I love Mustaine’s vocals. Disagree there.

Agree on Pantera. I love them, but I can only listen in small doses as the vocals wear on me.

quote:

Symphony of Destruction by Megadeth may well be your favorite, and I wouldn't debate that. But "best" is so utterly subjective to a million parameters as to be a fool's errand to even try.

Well no shite. This is a discussion board. I’m just giving my opinion. There’s no “best” of anything, especially in music.

It’s just a topic to discuss.
I won’t be the genre police, so define “metal” how you want.

For what I consider the true metal bands, I think Symphony of Destruction by Megadeth is the best.

You take a mortal man
And put him in control
Watch him become god

Depends on what options she chose.

I doubt she chose the “keep me in the freezer and pretend I’m alive” option.

Whats illegal? Wouldn't she still get pension to beneficiary if dead?

That’s not how pensions work.

Children don’t inherit them.

If the case was weak and they're pushing a sped up timeline on a weak case, they should probably listen to her.

I know nothing about the case, but you either do the bidding of your superiors, or you quit. That's how it should be in private business and in government.

Sure, you can make the case why your boss is wrong. But after it has been established what your orders are, you obey or leave.
Yes, as a lack of a cell phone or high speed internet is considered a symptom of poverty today. Or luxury food items.
So the dude broke multiple laws while here AND let his student visa lapse?

Newsweek can drudge up some sympathetic case, but this guy ain't it.
quote:

There is no possibility of a eutopian society where everybody has plenty, r at least thinks they have plenty. Some will always have more than others. In the US the. “poor” are often obese from consuming too many calories while having free housing, healthcare, groceries, etc. They also have free access to internet along with cell phones and big screen TV’s., yet they are “poor”.

Poverty is unsolvable because it is categorized as the lowest economic rung based on certain percentages. There will always be a bottom percentage group no matter what.
quote:

Amazing that as the day when we don’t need as many people to work just begins to dawn all Western governments import millions of unskilled immigrants.

Yea, we are having two conflicting conversations:

1. What will we do with all the unskilled labor when AI takes over and creates mass unemployment?

2. Let's bring in millions of laborers that we cannot support now, much less in the future.

Makes no sense.
