In town to visit family so I went to The Londoner this morning to catch the Boxing Day games only to find that it’s not The Londoner anymore & they weren’t open.

It’s a shell of its former self. Along with the food there…. It’ll be shut down within a year or so if it stays like it was the last time we went after the “remodel”.

That's a shame. Had many a fun times there.

I remember them falling into some kind of legal trouble with the name. I haven't been since then.

There isn’t a soccer bar that I know of, but for opening day of the EPL this year, some friends and I went to Mason’s. Open at 9:00 am, a ton of TVs, and a good beer selection. We went kind of begrudgingly just because they were the only place open, but it ended up working out pretty great.

Actually I eat there for lunch somewhat regularly and the food has always been very good and consistent. They took all the soccer stuff off the walls so I guess they are trying to be more of a restaurant than bar.

Ivars has a decent following of soccer fans. Watched the Gold Cup and Euro finals there.
