question about layovers and covid

Im planning a trip to Spain and I found a cheaper route's which involves a overnight layover in Sweden there, and Copenhagen on the way back.
Is this tricky in that I'll have more Covid protocols to follow? Is it worth it?

Most countries allow transfers without any protocols, but would definitely double check. Flew through Germany coming home from Italy this fall and most COVID restrictions and requirements were waived if you would be in-country for less than 24 hours.

The passenger locator for Spain had two options, one if it was your final destination and one if it was layover where you were spending less than 24 hours. I'm sure Sweden and Denmark have similar.
