Everything Trump has done the last 13 months has been to weaken China, namely tariffs and taking out their two biggest oil providers. He's beating them in a cold war that isn't close to getting hot. It's actually brilliant.

ETA: Also :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: is Trump making Americans better off financially than they were before a bad thing?

I’ll speak for myself here but the term “war” needs to be clearly defined.

Did I vote for continued long term occupation with boots on the ground in the Middle East in perpetuity? If that’s what you mean by “war” then no, I was opposed to that when I voted.

Am I opposed to dropping in, getting shite done and bouncing like we have done in Venezuela and appear likely to do in Iran? No I don’t mind that. If anything, it shows the world we aren’t to be fricked with under DJT.

I'm pretty much here too. With that said, we are way too early to declare either operation a total success, although Venezuela is looking very promising.

That said, I can see him being a bust in the NFL. I don't know why; I think he's really good, but I thought the same of Lenoard Fournette. It just wouldn't surprise me.

Except Love ran the second fastest 40, had hands like a WR, can pass block, has excellent vision, and is extremely strong for a guy with that speed. He’s about as sure thing as a back can be. Only thing that could hamper his career is if his hamstring issue lingers.

Someone is going to be very happy drafting Price

Love at 1.8 is my hope, but a world where we go Lemon at 1.8 and Price in the second would make me very happy. I’m not sure Price lasts though.
Never seen someone accomplish so little and have a fan base be so infatuated.
Rob absolutely dominated start to finish. Just a cold blooded killer.

Maura is lucky she is hot because she’s dumb as a box of rocks.
Chalking this up to being BS (hopefully), but I bet the melt on Reddit right now is next level. This is the best fear porn they could ever imagine.
Currently I vote for Badflower.

Throwback to early 2000's pop punk and I think Just Surrender was very good but never blew up.

Somewhere in the middle is The Wonder Years being slept on, which is a travesty, especially for how beloved "The Greatest Generation" is by critics.

Locally, Meriwether never truly exploding outside of the Baton Rouge scene is wild.
And Jason Williams will plead them to misdemeanors and ask them to write a kind letter apologizing to their ops.

But in no way fo you take love. Dude faced 2 good defenses and got shutdown. And definitely not a generational talent.

This is horseshite. In the last 2 seasons ND played 7 games against teams with top 25 rush defenses at the end of the season. 1 of those was OSU in the national championship where Love was hurt and only got 4 carries, so he realistically faced 6. He averaged 88.2 YPG on 73 carries with 7.25 YPC and 6 touchdowns. That doesn't include his receiving stats.

Just like the Vietnamese and the Afghans and the Iraqis and so on.

Talk about being brain-dead and lacking of any critical thinking

If they had a modicum of common sense, the DNC could make up all the ground they lost in 2024 with the American public. Instead, they ran further to the left and had the face of their party release some cringe "67" account to relate to the generation that is slipping from their grip.

They will still win the midterms, but post-Trump they are toast.

I'm convinced some of you retards think "the cartel" is a workplace that has a company uniform and reports to work Monday through Friday from 9-5

Anybody that thinks it's just as simple as using "military technology" to identify and take out tens of thousands of people at all levels - from your common street dealer to the chief of police on the cartel payroll, to corrupt government officials - has never been military or law enforcement. This is not something you can just "eliminate targets" your way out of.

Our best defense that would put a serious strain on cartel operations would be to lock down our borders and coasts at all costs. The Southern border would need to be impenetrable and coasts heavily guarded with serious firepower. You take away the American drug market and that puts a bigger damper on the cartels than killing 100s of their leaders.

Exactly. I would also add that part of the equation requires improving the Mexican economy as well. Cutting off the illegal drug trade to the US plus viable alternatives for income fix a lot of the problems. The thing is it's not a overnight fix, it'll take a generation or more to get better. In the interim targeted strikes on leaders help. At some point you will reach the equilibrium were the rank and file aren't incentivized to sign up to die anymore, but there are 1000's that are too far gone at this point.
Depends how long this temper tantrum lasts. This one seems bigger than some others though that faded out after a day or 2. I wouldn't feel good about being on a national team down there right now, seems like prime kidnapping targets.

But what happens when you get the Dem Trump and a Dem Congress...

People post about the slippery slop from gay marriage legalization to the "trans bill of rights" in 10 years, but act like a unitary executive in the hands of the Dems wouldn't be the total destruction of the country.

However, a closer examination of the trademark application shows the Trump Organization could benefit from licensing the name for goods and services, including watches, clocks, jewelry, clothing, restaurants, and other collectibles

Who gives a shite? It's not wasting taxpayer dollars. If a politician wants to profit from people voluntarily buying merch with their name on it, who cares?

1. He can't beat Vance in a debate. After watching Vance debate I'm not sure any candidate can.

This is crazy if you watched the 2015 RNC debates. Trump and Rubio easily were always 1 and 2 for who performed the best, with really the only tiebreaker being who you preferred more.

Vance does a solid job debating people with opposing views, but don't know how he holds up in a non-combative debate with someone with the same general views.

I thought Vance was a shoe in after 2024, but he's sort of fallen to the side and has made a few gaffs recently. Rubio has really shined in the last few months. Think he also really benefits from the revival of the Monroe Doctrine by Trump 2.0. Who better to fully implement with DJT started than a POTUS of Cuban descent, who speaks Spanish, and understands the need for secure, friendly, and strong Latin/South American democracies, at least if I was running his campaign that is what I am pushing.

Storm is here Patriots just need to vote Baron Trump Jr for his second term in 2104!

Immigrants should be here to better us, not drain us.

The Trump admin has upped the analysis on public charge grounds of inadmissibility for immigrant visa and adjustment of status applicants. Unlike the Trump 1.0 version, I don't think the policy change this time has been litigated to death.

We need to cut out welfare spending across the board, including Social Security.

You didn't say how far you travel into Mexico but I can also tell you if you drive more than 15 minutes or so into the country from the border they are going to be looking for U.S. license plates without a car permit. You absolutely cannot get a car permit without your passport and without making copies of your passport.

I never took my US car outside of the immediate border area, I actually don't think you can without certain plates. Would either rent a car or ride in one of the Mexican worker's cars. They allegedly have scanners and license plate readers at all the ports of entry, and I've seen the guards "doing inspections" but who knows if they actually work or are being monitored.

I tried to give my passport to an INM worker walking across the first time I walked across and he looked at me like I was crazy. I think the only time I got asked for my passport was trying to cross back into the US and they were asking if I had made money in MX that day that I needed to report.

If they drove into MX at like 3 AM with this lady and switched to a MX plated car, she is long gone.
