Today's Installment of COVID policy nonsense

Yesterday I was notified that my daughter is quarantined from school for 5 days due to exposure to someone who was positive. Among those exposed with her was a boy on the basketball team. Because I don't give a f*** about this stuff I let her go to the basketball game scheduled for last night. We've ignored their quarantine before and gotten away with it but this time they noticed both her and the basketball player. They made her leave but he was allowed to stay and play the game. Because that makes sense

By the way. What good is a 5 day quarantine after being exposed? If you were exposed and you are a child then who is to say that 5 days later you don't have coronavirus with no real symptoms? Both of my children have been positive without symptoms in the past already. And when I say no symptoms I mean no symptoms at all

I don't understand the contact tracing policy at this juncture. Over 700 days into this BS, and schools still practicing this. And I was informed it can be endless.
My wife was pissed because I told the Principal not to bother contacting anyone in the family if my grandson is exposed again. He's personally had it back in August AND his Father had it in December of 2021. I trust the science enough to know he's built a natural immunity by now.

It's honestly pathetic. As my story in the OP indicates. They're all just going thru the motions. None of them actually believe in the shite. That's why the people making the policy have been violating THEIR OWN policies this whole time.
If they TRULY believed we should all be scared of COVID, they'd be the first to follow their policies to the letter.
I've said it before. If someone tells you, "whatever you do, don't touch that button.......it'll kill you" and then, literally everyone telling you that touches the fricking red button, you probably should pause for a moment and use your brain.

Parents are fed up!!! Private schools in the Houma Thibodaux Diocese have the same protocols. Some parents started a survey (link below) and within 24 hours all parents received this text...
“From the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux: We are aware of a survey currently being circulated to our school employees and parents. Please know that this survey WAS NOT originated by the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux or its Catholic Schools Office.”
So in other words, you don’t want to hear from parents paying tuition?
