doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting different results.
that is where we are now in the season.
LSU has let 3 SEC teams put a combined 96 points up against them.
read that again...
the high power offense of miss state put up 24 points.
auburn put up 21 this year, after looking terrible before playing us, and terrible afterwards.
96!!!! Points
the fans see the problems, the coaches see the problems...
the coaches say they will fix the problems, and yet, no adjustments are being made.
we've seen this for 3 games now, and hopefully it's not a fourth.
but I just don't see the coaching staff changing a whole defensive scheme in one week.

Agreed completely.
I sometimes wonder how much "trust the coaches" rants we'd be hearing if WVU had beaten Pitt last year....

Well then, you must be completely bat-shite crazy. You've been posting the same shite for two days and expecting things to be changed overnight.

No, that is the definition of stupidity.

I am confused on how fans on this site can mock and say that nothing is wrong, trust the coaches.
that seems bat shite crazy to me IMO

1. a poor ability to understand or to profit from experience

In fairness, the D only gave up 14 to Auburn's offense.

Because they are moronic and have forgotten about LSU football pre-2000. The glass is always half full for them. But, I will say this..it is only one game. Let's wait and see what happens. If we go out and kick arse every game and hold everyone to 10 points and under then great. If they continually put up 30-50 points on us...well...

its more than one game. it was things that we were told would be fixed before uf and they weren't fixed they got worse.

Anyone who knows football sees this. I have no clue what these people still talking NC are thinking. I just want improvement. losing a football game is miniscule compare to not showing up like LSU did. It's a major departure from anything I have seen from an LSU team in over a decade.

I'm not saying everything is peaches 'n pussy, but I'm gonna give a coach who's gone 38-7, coming off an SECC and national championship, with a RS freshman QB leading the team and inexperienced personnel manning our secondary ... a little more than 3 games to turn us into an NFL powerhouse. I'm just gonna wait a couple games to see how things shake out. You call it insanity, I call it patience. And yeah, if we end the season 6-6 giving up 40 PPG I'll be as fried as you are. Promise.

Well, UF is no Miss. State, N. Texas, App. St, etc......

yet ole miss beat them.
is ole miss better than LSU?
more talented players?
of course not, that's SILLY.
better defensive gameplan against florida?
absolutely.

I agree...
the worst thing a coach can do is be stubborn and be so arrogant that his system will work, even if it isnt.
Im not sure Les is bring arrogant, but he is definitely being stubborn.

yes UF is better than them. The problem is the same shite happens every week. No problem going into the uf game was fixed. We still have mccray on the field, we can't get plays in, we can't get pressure on the qb, we don't force turnovers. We also made 0 in game adjustments. That part is really starting to get to me now. We didn't adjust to what uf did.

Don't forget this: Fla had 3 big time turnovers against O.Miss, each leading to points. And O.Miss' last td was the result of ..blown coverage by the Fla safety. Each game in the SEC has to be judged by that game that day, not in comparision to another game on another day.

Yeah, why would we want to trust a man who has won 38 games, a NC, an SEC championship and 2 west championships? Why would we give him ANY benefit of the doubt in assessing the situation?
