I always enjoyed

The ghost and the darkness

Fortress (the group of animal masked men that kidnapped a teacher and her class of students)

And judgement night with Cuba and Emilio just to name a few

Actually just realized these may be 90s movies but still lol

I’ll add 1917.

Ok maybe it’s not classified as a thriller but I’ll contend it is one

Hated Midsommar. “It’s a movie about grief!” Yeah the one where the girls whine too much and end up killing the men.

Came out around 18’ I think but Bad Samaritan was an awesome movie. Also really liked Hell or High Water.

"Prsoners and No Country" are good suggestions.

"Midsommar" was more odd than anything else. A couple of creepy moments, I'd say. At least that one guy got laid in a freaky way..

"The Ring" was released in 2002. It deserves a mention.

No Country is really hard to beat. One of best movies ever (IMO) I enjoyed " you were never really here". The kiddy stuff was a bit much but the movie as a whole was awesome.
