Best teaching pro for kids / BR area

My 8 year old is interested in getting better but doesn't always like to listen to advice from dad.
I went to David Marchand as a kid as I thought he was great because he would explain WHY we were changing what we were changing, etc so a kid could understand.
Does anyone know if David still teaches? If not, any recommendations on kid friendly coaches in the BR area?

Pretty sure he is in New Orleans. I spent many an hour on the range with Marchand. I worked for him at the UC. To this day he has been my favorite person to work for.

Chris Burkstaller at The Island in Plaquemine. He’s the man and works a ton with kids/youth.
