Anyone have any well priced favorite hotspots to buy refurbished balls? Looking for the ability to buy specific balls.

Do some research on the refurbishment of balls and then don’t waste your money. Used high quality are great. Refurbishment means they sand down an extremely dirty ball and repaint. Maybe not even the ball it’s being labeled as. Also testing showed 15-20 yds less on drives.

Golf balls direct.com is a great site. You can get slightly used balls for half off normal price. You can select the grade you want. I could swear the Prov's are brand new. They go just as far as new ones. Pro V's are anywhere from $25-30 a dozen.

I guess I should have been more specific. I am looking for "mint" or 5A used/recycled balls and not refinished.

I will give this a go. They have (48) bucket of 2018 ProV1 "mint" condition for $88 after taxes. Seems like a good deal.

In my experience the balls are high quality. Usually mint is going to be unplayed balls.

Another vote for lost golf balls.com -
Do yourself a favor and read their guide to each grade of ball they offer.

Try Jerry's Golf Balls on eBay. They're out of Arizona. You won't be disappointed with them. The quality on the 4A is good enough that I've never even bothered purchasing 5A.

I think my last purchase a couple months ago was $71 and some change for 4 dozen Tour B X

I’ve wanted to do this but worry I’m getting balls from the bottom of a pond.

if you're buying 4A 5A or mint balls they will not be. generally you can't tell they've ever been played, and they perform like any other ball.

Typically reloads are pond dwellers

There is quite a bit of testing out there showing the used golf balls (assuming no scuffs/cover issues) perform every bit as good as new-in-box golf balls. It is an interesting topic.

My favorite place is hole #14 and #16 at Beaver creek, the ruff just off the fairway and ditch at LSU, and the ditch at Webb.

After reading this thread I just ordered a bucket of 96 Pro V1s 2021 model - Mint 5A condition for $250.20.
There’s free shipping for orders over $69.00 and today is the last day for 15% discount for a Open Championship promotion.
Hopefully the balls are perfect like new, so at $2.60/ball definitely beats $4.16/ball brand new.

It's a solid site for sure and they're usually pretty quick about shipping. I believe they are located in Sugarland area of Texas.

And they also usually run 15% discounts year round. I noticed they did for Fathers Day, Memorial Day, US Open, July 4th, British Open, etc.

Took about a week for my order from lost golf balls to get delivered. I ordered some Mint5A ProV1s and the majority look brand new with random logos. There’s some that look new with markings on them with a sharpie. Seems like a great deal, can’t wait to play them this weekend and compare to a new sleeve of ProV1s.
