Welp, there goes the importance of the regular season. Should be pretty interesting though tbh.

Can't believe how badly ESPN has helped ruin an all time great sport.

So lame. Regular season games just don't mean shite anymore I guess

2026?

Gah damn these timelines are really frustrating with this and the conference moves.

Happy to announce USC will join the BIG in 2081!

No wonder Saban signed that 10 year deal. Alabama would have to lose 4 games to not make it now.

Tough to ask fans to travel to a conference title game and potentially 4 playoff games. I wonder how many rounds would be on-campus

8 would have been reasonable. Or even 6 with #1 and #2 getting a bye or something.

This is just insane

I’d go:

-1st round of 12 teams with 8 playing in 4 on-campus games and 4 with byes

-2nd round is 4 on-campus games hosted by the 4 teams with byes

-3rd round is bowl game locations

-Natty is bowl game locations

It will be the opposite effect imo. With more teams eligible, there Will be more meaningful games late in the year.

Fact. Yall can take 3 games off a year and still go. Must be nice.

I just don’t really get this comment. LSU’s game against A&M last year would have kept the Aggies out of the playoffs. Pitt-WVU to start the season would have even bigger implications. I get feeling like it doesn’t matter for those top 4-5 teams.

It absolutely matters for everyone else.

A team that was 8-3 going in to the LSU game.

That's his whole point.

And those top 4-5 teams will win it every year rendering this a silly exercise
