I would blame this loss solely on the defense. 38 should always give you a win in this league. Lee will get better. But first the defense needs to.

Offense also scored 38. A net of 21. 21 points at home should keep you from getting blown out if you have any kind of defense at all.

try 400+ yards as well, making average players look like Heisman candidates. Check out what the South Carolina D did to UGA. Then check last nights stats.

BULLCRAP!!!
The defense gave up 38 points. It doesn't matter a hill of beans how UGA got the ball on its own 35 (the Dawgs could just as easily gotten from a punt), the defense has to stop the other team. UGA was able to drive downfield and get into position for a field goal and make it. That's on the defense.
I'm not taking any of the blame away from the mistakes the offense made (particularly Lee), but the offense still put 38 points on the board and got nearly 500 yards of offense on the day. Hell, Scott ran for 144.
When that happens, LSU should win.

not when you starting QB gives up 14 the other way and the defense gives up huge big plays.....
