so what would it take for us to actually win the west. I am guessing we have to beat alabama and they have to lose to one more game?

I'm starting to think Alabama might be legit. I've been expecting them to choke for three games now and they haven't.

Bama vs. Florida is a game I am actually looking forward to watching come ATL time. That has all the makings of an epic game.
I do think that if we somehow beat Bama that Auburn in Tuscaloosa would be our only hope...and that's even less likely.

No doubt, but if the Gumps are gonna ge 'em, now is the time. They've lost 6 in a row and this is the most lopsided it's been in Bama's favor since 1999.
If Auburn beats them, it would be even more out of left field than in 2001, when they would have clinched the west, but instead lost to Bama 31-7. It would be a role reversal this go around.
