Instead of CoachMc vs Golden, you can also look up who Billy Donovan told UF to hire - and you can look up Murray State MBB prior to CoachMc and understand he was arguably their worst coach in 20+ years.

It took Roy Williams, who ended with 3, 18-19 years to win one even though he was loaded with #1 seeds the entire time. Getting to the tourney every year is the goal, once your coach can do that his better teams can make runs. That’s the standard in college basketball. It’s not football.
The standard "LSU fans" have for MBB is ridiculous and doesn't live in reality. They think NC runs are easy, while in truth it's the most difficult title to win due to format and competition.
