Starting same team QB & RB

I usually hate doing this.. but I may need to this year.
For reference, I’ve got Hurts + Sanders.
Others:
Kamara, Akers / Henderson
Hesitant to start Henderson, but likely will next week. Really impressed by the Sanders production but curious on how it would actually play out starting both the QB & RB1.
Thoughts? I guess I could sell Sanders + bench WR for a possible upgrade.

I waver on this every year. It’s all about touches, right?
So if Phi runs 100 plays, you’re basically cutting your potential touches in half for two people. Easy math, let’s say that’s 50 opportunities for sanders to touch the ball and 50 for hurts to touch the ball. 100 total opportunities among two players.
If you had hurts and a rb from another team, and both teams run 100 plays, that’s 200 total opportunities among two players.
Now you could get the stack where hurts passes to sanders for a td and they both get you a TD. But that might not happen often. Much easier for a qb and wr combo.
I’d maybe wait it out and see how the next few weeks ago. Or send out trade feelers like you said. Of the 2, I’d keep hurts and try to sell high on sanders for a team that maybe and a bad performance from one of their 2 RBs.

Hurts led the team in rushing and rush TDs last season. 43% of his points. Sanders had 0 TDs. Out attempted Sanders yesterday +4
Sanders doesn’t do work in the pass game. Needs TDs to be viable. His week to week consistency is murky

Start your best players. Who cares if you have guys on the same team. Start the players you think will score the most points at each position.
