Yeah I’m not saying they don’t do good things, but man the attention whoring is strong with that group and its minions. Although I’m sort of on the fence since they do ultimately do good service in times of need.

I am torn as well. If you don't promote yourself, then you can't get funding and resources you need to help people. But when they do what is needed to get those resources, it sure seems like attention whoring and I despise it.
