Wilson just isn't throwing the ball enough for my liking. But Goff plays the Patriots. I don't know who to go with.

Pats aren't that scary on
D (at least not as scary as usual) and probably starting their 3rd string QB who looks like Hank Baileygates from Me, Myself, & Irene. Goff been on fire, Russ been a disappointment and playing on Thursday. Don't overthink it. I'd keep Russ on the bench until he shows he can put up points.

Wilson also playing with a hurt shoulder on a Thursday. He very well could have his best game of the season with no Javonte Williams to lean on, but I personally always try to avoid Thursday night games.

I’m playing Goff. Goff has put up a good fantasy season before when he’s had time to throw, and he’s struggled with poor offensive lines. His current O line appears to be one of the best in the league. And if he gets his weapons back healthy soon he should continue to perform

Russ I’m not sold on his health, his current abilities, or that coaching staff or offense. Plus a ton of injuries on that offense

Also Goff has the worst defense in the league and Wilson has a good one. Lions need to play offense aggressively to keep up

Throw in it’s a Thurs night game which are historically lower scoring

In this predicament too.

Biggest reason I’m stating Goff, like mentioned, health and it’s Thursday night. Top it off with a slow start to the season and it just feels like another 12 point outing. Who knows, could be wrong, but I think even if Goff has a slower week, he can still outscore Wilson.
