Opinions on Geno Smith

Picked him up off waivers last week. Been off to a great start. Do we think he maintains this? Where would you rank him? I currently have Brady for comparisons sake.

I'm not sold. I don't see him performing as well against good defenses. I also still have the image in my head of him pouting all night when he didn't get drafted as early as he wanted so maybe I'm biased. Also, frick the Seahawks. Still hate Pete Carroll.

I’m taking my chances with Geno. He has two good receivers and a good TE corps. Their defense sucks so they’ll need offense to be competitive. Geno has had good time in the pocket and he’s not just checking down, he’s making good throws and has a good YPA. If he keeps sprinkling in some QB runs then you’re going to get a solid QB. He’s not going to break the game or be elite, but we’ve seen some talented QBs revive their careers later in their career and have success. We know he was in a shitty situation in NYJ, maybe he just needed to find the right coaching staff and the right opportunity

Me, too. I have read all about how the Saints have shut down more elite QBs, and I believe it. But I have Dak and Jameis watching Sunday games from the sidelines, and the waiver wire in my league is not worth the pick-up fee.

All aboard the Geno Train!!! 
He's serviceable. Has a great WR corps. Dissly and Fant are TE2 types, occasionally scoring.
I'm rolling with him in one league of what's left on the roster: Tannehill.
Was him or Bridgewater.
