Been a fan for a long time. He was in KC tonight. Damn he can play. Still has the voice too. Only disappointment was that they only played for about an hour twenty. Ended the show with cover of Runnin Down a Dream.

The most talented band in Nashville. I just saw them at Pilgrimage and their musicianship is off the charts. Chris Scruggs, the bassist, is good enough to be lead guitarist on just about any other band on the planet but is third best in that band.

That would belong to Alison Krauss' band

Chris Scruggs didn’t make the trip. He got Covid right as they were about to leave. Marty said they decided to roll on and try something they had never done before playing without a bass.

I'm sure it still sounded great without bass.

I have tickets for the Superlative’s show in Germantown, TN on November 18th. Looking forward to it. Arguably one of the best bands in the land these days.

On some of the recent YouTube uploads of their shows, Cousin Kenny Vaughn is playing a lot more B-bender Telecaster. Dueling b-benders. Yeah.
