Opening kickoff

Kelly was quick to cover up his own coaching mistakes by mentioning the opening kickoff fumble. Maybe his special teams coach shouldn’t have had the two back men swap positions right at the time of the kick. I’m noticing a trend of Kelly throwing players under the bus and then he follows up with “we need to coach better “.

It was said on the broadcast that it was Bech idea to switch. Not the coaches. He did it on his own.

That’s bullshite. Kelly, not Polian, ran onto the field as the kicker was positioning the ball with the holder and told them to switch.

Yeah, you can blame the coach for the kickoff fumble, but first and foremost, blame the guy to dropped the ball.
