Coyotes on the west bank

Played stone bridge today. The best thing about the course was the air show from the jets at the nearby air station.
I saw an alligator. I saw an egret. I’ve seen these plenty of times.
But on the 13th hole, I looked back and swear I saw a coyote.
Is this common on the course?
Was this just a tall, thin, domestic dog?
Looked like a coyote.

Considering the course is right next to a big wooded area I don’t know why that would be hard for you to imagine

My parents live in stonebridge. There are definitely coyotes. My dad sends me videos every now and then. They are pretty bold too.
Wildlife and fisheries says if they kill them then the coyotes will breed more and it will be a bigger problem? Seems like BS to me.

Supposedly if you kill the alpha male the female will go into heat. Yes they are everywhere. There is a pack with a bunch of little ones living in the batcher in River Ridge.

I've heard this before. The pack "knows" how many of them can survive in a given area. That's why you have to shoot them all.
We used to have a pack near my house. They tangled with the neighbor's donkey who was protecting the sheep. That was a sight to see. The donkey kicked or 3 of them. One he bit and threw it on the ground. Then, he stomped it in the mud while looking at the pack who had run out of his area. Then, he pissed on the corpse.
We hunted them the next evening. We killed about 7 of them. I haven't seen on since.

Yes, coyotes are very common around neighborhoods adjacent to wooded areas. I wouldn’t be surprised to see one on the course at all.
