Staley runs the same scheme as Vangio. So yes, he’d out styles in wild places but i do believe the Baun role is where he’d play. And that to me would be scary for this defense.

I think a lot of that depends on where they use him and how they use him. I would imagine the Zach Baun role the eagles use him in. The thing is, he’s 3 times the athlete and player Baun is. I don’t think you’ve seen half the things Styles is even capable of. I’d love to see how he develops as a pass rusher.

The rb are a high value position guys will disagree with you but my lord passing on styles would be the dumbest thing we did since signing Carr to that contract.

For a team to draft a player in the 2nd round and then throw him away for the toilet paper they wiped their arse with tells you all you need to know about the player. Him making the team would be a success story. Expecting much of him? Not at all.

We can’t protect him from being hit his entire career. Hes either gonna last or he isn’t. They need to move him around alot more than they have.

I don’t agree at all with what he said but your stat line is misleading. 10 out of the top 15 nfl rushers are 2nd round and beyond. The top 3 leading nfl rushers are not first round picks. 5 out of the top 6,

I mentioned this on another thread. He’s a can’t miss prospect. Scouts have said he has HOF talent. I don’t think he’s the pick unless the board falls in a catastrophic way for us. He is exactly what you want at guard and our weakest position on our team. But guard like a couple other positions is just not one you go that high on. I do believe he is drafted much higher than people think though. Top 14 imo is a lock for him.

I agree. I like guys like Ball and Cooper and Boston way more than i like some of the top guys.

Well, not sure this is realistic but, this is the path to have one or two of our top guys falling in our laps. Choosing Love over Bailey would make me lose my shite for about 3 months till the season began though.

This is my biggest issue. We have literally the worst setup to draft a rb. This offense needs weapons but more so at wr. Olave has injury concerns, vele showed promise but, he we still don’t know what he is. Our interior line is the worst in the league. Everyone saying we can fix the line in free agency. What players are you going to sign that can change our line? This is a very weak free agency class for the Oline. Best case they have to trade for someone or draft love, hope we can find the solution to the interior of the line in the draft. Which is possible but you will be negelecting top pass rusher or wr by doing so. If Love is your guy then take him. But they better pray they can draft a guard or 2 and a center in this draft as well.

I really believe Ioane should be considered if this is how it plays out. Ioane is gonna be an elite level guard for a decade. Scouts believe he has HOF talent. Guards are like RBs to me but if this is how it plays out i wouldn’t hate this idea.

Nothing about Tate screams 1st round. Guys more talented than him and more athletic than him were 2nd round picks. Hes slosh for his size. Would be a horrible pick @8. Tyson is a much better prospect but you can’t touch him either

Staley isn’t running a 2 gap system so his edges aren’t really dropping in coverage. You also see him utilize 4 dlineman. What you see Fangio run in Philly is what the ideal edge dline you would ideally have here. Bain wouldn’t be lined up over a guard or really dropping into coverage.
