1pt PPR 6pt TD. Have Kyle Pitts (i know) at TE. Debating dropping Taysom and going for stash of Kyren Williams at RB. I'm a little weak at RB with Cook, Pollard, Jamaal Williams, Khalil Herbert, and Gus Edwards.

We play 1 qb, 3 wr, 2 rb, 1 te, 1 flex

Thoughts?

I’m out on Taysom for fantasy purposes. There’s zero predictability there.

Andy Dalton is the guy for 2022. Kamara looks like he’s locked in if last week was any evidence. Ingrams injury does help.

He will probably get some TDs and make my most look bad, but I’m riding or dying with Pitts.

With all of this bullshite I just said, Rams backfield may just be a complete dud even with Kyren. It would be a flyer on him getting opportunity AND an OL improvement.

Yep. He could score 40 or 4 and you will never really know which week either is going to happen.

Now apply that same logic to Kyle Pitts.

You shouldn't have to drop either player. Trade whoever will extract you the most value.

It’s not apples to apples to compare Taysom to really any player. But I’ll try..

Taysom snap share averages around 25% yet gets extremely high value RZ touches and is consistent with those touches.

Pitts is logging 75-80% snap share but is on a team that, so far, has passed the ball like a Pop Warner league. 9 targets last week. If that continues, Pitts has a better floor moving forward.

ETA: as I mentioned the new update in Taysom’s favor is the Ingram injury. He might get better snap counts and build a floor off rushing.

If I owned both, I’d hate making that decision week to week.

True, but most TEs have a range more like 4-14 with no more predictability. I'd rather the guy that can get 40.

As a Pitts owner, I fully get it

Exactly. You shouldn’t expect much out of TE unless you have a top 2-3
guy. Might as well go big.

Dalton is the best thing for Hill. They are running the offense through Taysom at times. He actually put up like 9 points for me in PPR league where he doesn’t even catch passes. He nearly broke one for a TD.

Week or so before he had the receiving TD. I still expect TDs if not decent rushing totals from Taysom until more receivers come back. He is almost a cheat code at times.

With all that said you paid the price for Pitts, so maybe stick with him after the Falcons finally decided to pass. I hate to roster two TEs, but I probably would here. At least until I saw consistency from Pitts.

If you don’t want to go rogue at TE then go Pitts only.

Waited too long to draft a TE and got Kmet. I'll gladly ride it out with Taysom the rest of the season.

Depends on your roster construction. But I'll take his 4 boom weeks knowing he won't do shite the other weeks. Which is most of the other TEs, without the boom potential

All of this. The offense moves well down the field with Dalton but he can't seem to have any success in the red zone. Expect a LOT of red zone touches(whether rushing, receiving, or direct snaps) from Taysom.

A concern of mine moving forward was once Michael Thomas returned then the red zone opportunities could significantly go away. Well that is no longer a concern since MT went on IR.

Always operate under the assumption that the Saints will be without MT.....even when he's listed as starting.

I have him on a few rosters.

He’s good for 5-10 at a min with a potential for 16+. A decent bye week filler.
