The Wife and I are going across the pond next year. I am looking at tickets for Arsenal and Chelsea match. Does anybody have any recommendations as if I should wait closer to date and hope prices drop or should I go ahead pull the trigger on tickets now even though the prices for them are pretty high. Not many tickets available on the market either.

You'll likely have to pay to become a member of one of those teams groups before you can purchase a ticket through them directly, and with it being such a high stakes game, it'll be quite difficult to even get one there.

Well I can buy some off the secondary market right now they are high but I mean I guess this point just bite the bullet and get in the building. I am assuming that there isn’t a bad seat in the house being the stadium doesn’t look big at all.

I would go with that. Get them anyway you can given the status of that match.

I've mentioned this before, but ask around at hotels. Many of them keep tickets on hand in case they're asked by a guest who's willing to pay.

This isn’t like buying tickets in America

Prices won’t go down, especially for London clubs and with Arsenal in first place good luck

Both you need to be a member which gives you the opportunity to purchase tickets

The secondary market you are looking at 2 or 3 times face value bc they thrive off tourist who don’t know better. Problem is if you get caught with a ticket bought from an unauthorized seller online you won’t get in.

That’s bad advice

Will be stupid expensive if they even have any on hand

Arsenal is already the most expensive ticket in the country

5 years ago we paid £90 a ticket through the club to sit upper deck for a last 16 champions league match vs Bayern

Bayern fans had a bunch of banners protesting the prices

I payed a broker but I had to take possession of them when in England they won't ship them or transfer them over seas
They showed up morning of the match Liverpool-Man City

It was stressful

Literally one of your only ways is immediately buying an Arsenal America membership and requesting tickets ASAP. The window to request is like 8 weeks before the match.

Good luck because I bet they don't have many left. You gotta do this step ASAP. On top of that, you won't find out if you got the tickets until like 3 or 4 weeks before.

Also prayers to you if you are a Chelsea fan. You can't sit in the home sections wearing any sort of Chelsea gear or cheer if Chelsea scores or does anything. They'll ban and kick your arse out in a heartbeat

Check P1 travel. Took the family to London 3 times and that is the only way I was able to procure tickets to a Chelsea match. I paid out the arse for a hospitality package but finally got to see them play at the bridge.

There was a Leeds fan in the home club level right in front of us for the match I went to and when Leeds scored, he stood up and yelled. All the Arsenal fans were telling him to frick off, but he wasn't removed

The game would be at the emirates and its a big stadium.

Seats arent really close to the pitch like other smaller clubs or highbury.

But, Arsenal is doing well so id assume the atmosphere rt now is the best its ever been at the emirates. When i went it was pretty docile.

yeah they bitch about prices but i guess none of them have been to a big college game or an nfl game. Bama LSU or Auburn Bama would be a much higher ticket. I was actually suprised I only had to pay 65 pounds for an Arsenal west ham match. Which at the time was like $70.

oh and i became a member and just used the ticket exchange and the tickets went on my little card.
