Buckle up baws, looks to be a volatile week in the markets with Chyna unrest/protests due to Covid protocols. Markets under pressure for now.

I have read speculation to the effect that the Chinese financial systems are without the necessary liquidity because of the repercussions of Evergrande. And the problem with attempting to just have their government assume the debt and print their way out of the scandal is they are also already heavily indebted.

Their system is intentionally opaque but some economists who say they understand the relationships between debt and the velocity of money through a system say they may have massive hidden debt problems (based on the decreasing positive effects of stimulus spending).

In short if Evergrande put them over the edge and they can't afford to assume the additional debt they would be at risk of a major recession with global implications

The crazy authoritarian lockdowns for what is little more than a cold for the vast majority of people is economic stupidity pure and simple.

They’ve been on the wrong side of this thing for way too long. The problem and saving grace for them is that they have complete control of their monetary supply and economy with no repercussions and there’s nothing anyone can do about it. People have been short the yen for a decade and have gotten smoked. They aren’t going down easy I can promise you that

Chyna is using intimidation and surveillance to try to stop protests. Good luck with that.

The bankers have already blown the world to shreds with all their derivatives. The average folks just don’t know it yet.

The virus(es) are just cover to deflect.

In the last two years, I’ve come to question every headline and how much is a cover for Wall Street movement. Now is kind of awkward because the elite are hemorrhaging, they have their pants down, and our cuck govt refuses to lock them up
