Gonna be a red ripple.
Atlanta Urinal-Constipation had a story the other week that showed how Abrams and Warnock are not only beating but obliterating Kemp and Walker in campaign fundraising.

I think the Democrat will gain seats in the senate, but will lose the house by a very small margin.
The Abortion things was a buzz killer for the GOP. Like it or not, many people don't want ban on all abortions.
Northwestern and I were both downvoted significantly for that with a lot of people pointing out that abortion was not banned. And that’s true, of course, but also not the point. It doesn’t matter what is real and logical; it only matters what people believe and feel.
And I’m sure a few will say but but Kemp won so you were wrong ha! No, Kemp was always a different animal.
And there were others too. I specifically remember posters like burger bearcat and others predicting people would be standing on the shore, waiting for a red wave that was never going to show.

Many here will tell you the only reason Republicans didn't take the Senate is because of Dominion and rigged elections.

I called for shady arse elections that make no sense on the surface. What do I win?

The cities are rigged now, they know who doesn’t show up to vote, and vote for them…. It will take a total reset to change things moving forward…

Sorry for being optimistic.

I got down voted to hell (and still do) because I correctly stated that Dobbs killed any hope of a Red Wave.
Thanks SoCons.

The abortion issue definitely hurt republicans

As much as I wanted it to happen I never believed the Red Wave. White women, especially in large cities/suburbs, vote Democrat based on abortion rights alone & refuse to vote for anyone who would restrict anything involving abortion. They are literally fine with the entire world burning around them, paying $7 a gallon gas, & huge electricity/grocery bills as long as abortion stays legal. I live in a huge urban area. I know these women. They all admit this freely. They are insane.

I'll take Dobbs and 435 Dems in Congress.
Look up any of the kids born now because of Dobbs and they won't be worried about Senate election results from 20 years ago.
Besides, the country will disintegrate over the trajectory of my lifetime, but I'll always stay positive and fight the losing battle.

it was pretty obvious to the non-trump dickriders that running his candidates was a terrible idea. the dude is political poison
i expect the republicans to run him in 2024 and then when he loses we get to hear 4 more years of bitching about mail-in ballots while Biden dies in office

facts. I just hope it's a quick and painless end

The point of winning elections is not holding office. It is exercising power. So yeah, if some policy achievement involves a political cost, so be it.
As for the 'red wave,' the main problems were dud candidates. That cost the GOP probably 2-3 Senate seats, 2-3 Governorships, and maybe 3-4 House seats. That is not the fault of pro-lifers, it is the fault of Trump and co.

No its the Mitch McConnell Rino/RNCs fault
But the easy way out is blame Trump

The foundational principle of being able to live in a free society... is being able to live.
You don't even do a good job at being a pretend conservative.
