ut for me, Deadwood offers everything vegas used to offer.

$5 craps tables, blackjack, etc.
Cheap/free booze
Dining that is normally priced.
No pervasive weed smell

I'm headed to Deadwood/Rapids City area for a week after Vegas, so I will check it out.

Looking forward to it.

I really don't have time to be traveling, I'm about a month behind on building/finishing a bedroom suite out of black cherry.
Vegas kind of sucks now unless you or people you're with aren't "high rollers".

I gamble a little, but my wife and her cousin are big gamblers. They're both Seven Stars at Caesars and have hosts, get comped free meals and get comped so many free drinks that we end up giving 10 drinks away in the middle of the night before it resets. An Escalade picks us up at the airport, so no taxi or Uber.

We were at Nobu ordering everything on their menu just for the hell of it because they had to use so much comp money.

There's 10 of us meeting up in Vegas in about 3 weeks and for a few days, we'll live like there's no tomorrow. Going to be hitting up Nobu, Amalfi, Giada and we have reservations at a steakhouse as well, can't remember which one. I also have to go to Peter Luger's for their burger and for their Figs and Sage drink. If anyone ever goes, you have to try the Figs and Sage. It's amazing.

I'd get upset about it, but my wife somehow wins really frequently. She just won 8500 on Sunday and locks up machines like it's nothing. Me on the other hand, can't win for shite. I tell her she's definitely lucky...she married me.

TLDR--if you're going to Vegas to just hang out and your gambling budget is $500 for the whole trip, you're going to be disappointed.

Here around Lake Texoma, the Red River produces a little bit of electricity at the Denison Dam, but here no one in Texas or Oklahoma uses Texoma/Red River for freshwater. The salinity is too high.

Is that the same case for the Red in Louisiana?
We've somehow allowed mass immigration of stank arse mfers from shithole countries to come over here and practice their religious extremism--all because we're scared of being called xenophobic.
When i was a kid growing up in rural Missouri, we'd eat them. But hell, we ate pigs feet, cow tongue and made head cheese.

I won't touch that shite nowadays. My fishing guide buddy told my wife, "you're not the right color to eat that". But if i needed meat, I'd keep them and cook them up.
Jadarian Price is from right across the Red River from me in Denison, TX. He played for the Yellow Jackets that traditionally have a very good football team.

I hope he does well.
Thw women in Spain are the only ones that work in Spain. All of the guys are too busy smoking cigarettes at cafes looking for a dude to hook up with.
I fricking hate AI and all of these ridiculous ways to "improve efficiency". I don't like dealing with incompetent people (why I will go 2 weeks at a time without only being on my land or on the lake), but AI is much worse than dealing with the occasional retard.

I'm glad as shite that my livelihood isn't threatened by AI, but I worry about the future for our children.

I just ordered the USA Double box with two t shirts for like $320 shipped. I don't even like crab cakes, but I love America.
I'm an expert at making it look like it do chores.

My average day--I get up in the morning, go fishing then a recliner nap. Then get dressed and start smoking some herb. I then complete one task outside. That task could be bush hogging on the tractor, etc. Today that task is pointing and planing cherry lumber for a panel glue up.

My only inside chore I do is fishes. I dont mind them. If anything needs done in the house besides that, it's my wife's responsibility to either do it or hire cleaners to do it.

But a lot of breaks 8n between all of that to take care of my animals and sit on my front porch and smoke more herb (what I'm doing right this second).
Shithole country.

We don't want those low IQ chili choppers crossing the Rio Grande anymore.

If you fight or compete under a foreign flag, you're not a "real" American. If you receive your medal on the podium while a different country's national anthem plays, then you're not an American.
He's right in that I'm not attending an in person sporting event in a shithole area filled with degenerate fans that get drunk and want to fight or act stupid. I'd rather watch at home.

Adding to the previous post, I got the Graceland building and insulated it with Rockwool. I put in a mini split and use it for some of my woodworking machines like jointer, planer, dust collection and table saw.

Lumber is high. Even pine construction lumber hurts to buy. A Graceland or Tuff Shed will work and not be much savings if you built it yourself.

I buy a shite ton of hardwood lumber and if my sawmill guy doesn't have what I need and if I have to go to DFW and pay retail, it's shocking. Luckily I have a stockpile of cherry that will last for years. Good walnut running about $14/bf makes a 1x6x10' over 70 bucks for that one board.

I thought about building a woodshed a few years ago and just bought a Graceland 12x36 instead.

It's been a few years, so I dont have much to add other than Florence is great. We were with another couple so we were in an Air B&B for a few days there.

But Trattoria Dall'Oste is amazing (the one on San Lorenzo). The pasta and steak Florentine were great. And right across the street is Nino and Friends, a huge chocolate shop that has all kinds of samples and everything is worth buying.
Yep. That's her.

Thanks OT for helping me out.
Haha. Im not getting on my wife's phone and screenshotting some woman's pics to post on here. I dont have Facebook.
