Question for leagues who have a D/ST slot?

All other positions have a chance at negative points via INTs, Fumbles and Missed kicks (for leagues with kickers.)
Should a defense get negative points for points given up?
Something like -1 for 28-34 given up, -2 for 35-44 and -3 for 44+?
This is only for offensive scoring allowed, so a pick 6 or fumble return score will not count towards the total.

Don't most leagues use points against as part of defensive scoring? Both of my leagues do and they are on two different sites. ESPN league has anything over 28 as negative. MFL has anything over 35 as negative.

My league has negative points but it maxes out at -4. For a team to get the max of negative 4 they would have had to been blown out and not have any sacks, ints, safeties, def tds, etc. it happens but not often. Works well
