Flying up to Detroit Michigan with a buddy and taking a road trip back home over the weekend. Will be driving back Friday and plan on being back to the Northshore by Sunday. Any must stop places? Looking to stay somewhere 2 nights. Nashville will probably be one. Any recommendations of a city to stay in and explore for the night?

nashville is about 1/2 way nothing between there and BR worth stopping for a night unless you really like north alabama (hiking and shite). before there are cincinnati and louisville, fun can be had at either city for sure

That’s what I figured. Probably gonna end of staying one night in either Cincinnati or Louisville and one night in Nashville.

FWIW Louisville is a pretty cool city.

The best way I can describe it is: it’s like Baton Rouge, but if Baton Rouge actually did something with its potential.

Or to put it another way, it’s what Baton Rouge could have been, but will never be.
