Can we revise the title/guidelines to "Don't mention the damned game?"

You’ll have to take that up with board admin. You can report their posts for spoilers but I doubt it’ll do much.

How does fungus poisoning create that thing? Did it eat a giga chad NBA player who was roided to the gills? Can't wait to watch this tonight!!

The longer an infected survives, the more the fungus spreads.
So far you have seen the first 3 stages-
Runner- 1st stage infected, 1 day or less.
Stalker- stage 2, a Runner that has survived 3 months.
Clicker- stage 3, a Stalker that has survived 3 years (I think)

It makes sense that something like that would evolve the longer it stays "alive" and adapt to the environment. I assumed it may be a long-standing fungus person that's evolved.

yeah but at each stage these things didn't turn into super shredder either. Kinda curious to see how the fungus makes something that big and strong assuming it is in fact coming up through the floor of that basement.

I assume the fungus continues to grow as long as the host body is alive. Mushrooms grow in darkness.
