After 2 rounds with the Cobra Aerojet Driver

Powerful.
That's the best description that I can offer.
The Cobra AeroJet is very solid and very forgiving in the standard model. Put a good swing on it and the ball takes off.
It may be the best looking driver of the new 2023 models with the visible carbon crown weave and the feel is definitely one of the best. The Titleist Drivers are great looking but I consider them 2022 models.
Gone are the days of the tin sounding Cobra's. The newer model have a very pleasant sound, not muted like a TaylorMade, but very powerful sounding.
The best bonus for me is the fact that I wont have to re-shaft this driver. The Diamana Blue Kai'Li shaft fits me to a "T"
Even with the Standard model, the spin is low and the trajectory is just about perfect with plenty of rollout.
This driver is as long or longer than any of the new drivers and it is a fairway finder. It wants to go straight.
Every guy in my group hit it and I know 2 of them will have the AeroJet in their bags next week.

I didn’t hate it in a recent fitting but the TSR was on another level for me. Cobra was not nearly as accurate.

I was on trackman with it today. First time on trackman in about 5 years.
117 swing speed
174 ball speed
296 carry
I’ve had it for a few weeks and I knew it was right for me but those numbers are unreal for me. I did some reading. They pretty much took the best of every other driver and made it their own. They have their own “jailbreak” and their own AI generated face. It’s longer and way more forgiving.
And I also have the 3 wood. It’s also a very long club.

Sweet! I’ll find me one of those in a couple years when they’re on clearance
