The face looks so close3d in your pictures, but I know it squares up.

I have always loved the flower band on the Diamana shafts.
It would be wrong to say that they are a fad or even a novelty, but will the theory of it sustain it .

It's almost impossible to develop anything really earthshattering in golf any more.

Maybe A.I. will come up with some new materials in the future.

It's really a marvel that the establish brands moved so quickly to develop Zero Torque models after L.A.B. putters started gaining some ground on Tour.

According to A.I. - The Adoption Rate: While 10% is estimated by some, others suggest lower usage among elite, top-50 putting ranked players.

IMO, the Zero Torque movement really allowed existing putter companies to vastly over charge golfers like the new Tri-Hot Odyssey putters selling for $500.00.

Putters are so subjective and personal, some players have really improved their stats with the ZT models, while others have moved on from them.

Thoughts ?

Fun fact, the LPGA used to be based at Sweetwater.

I remember that. It was there when I first moved to Sugarland.
So what tournaments could be played there ?

Would they rent parking from First Colony Mall ?
Like the others have said, the right Shaft is paramount.

There are no bad drivers now.

Ping - Fairway finder

New Cobra Adapt and the TM Qi4D are rocket launchers.

Callaway Quantum and Titleist - sits in between.

Srixon, Mizuno, TourEdge will all get the job done.

Lowry is certainly one of the good guys in the game. Tough day for him.

I have to say that Nico made a great choice in his new bride. Very nice looking.

I still play my Taylor Made 200 Steel 7 wood, 21 degree that I have had since high school.

I had the TM 200 tour head 3 wood, it was a rocket launcher.

Callaway Heavenwood.

20* head with a 4 wood length shaft.
The Qi4D Driver has been great. I am finding a lot of fairways with it.

I have never been a TaylorMade guy much in the past .

As a guy that use to hit a hard draw, I thought the M2 driver was best for hookers.

The Qi4D has a great shape that is easy on the eyes and the gear effect wants to keep the ball in play. Plenty long too.

It's easily the best driver that TM has ever made IMO.

I agree, it's taking some getting used to.

To each his own on Nance.

He is a seasoned announcer and I am sure that trying to fill four hours of air time can be daunting sometimes.

Awesome experience for you and your club.

I never forget standing next to the first tee at the Woodlands TPC and John Daly ripped a drive.

I have never heard a golf ball make that sound since. Not even Tiger.

Honestly, sometimes I think I should forget about a lob wedge. That thing causes me some grief sometimes.

Check out Dicks or Golf Galaxy.

The Maxfli Tours, X, S models are great .

They differ in compression and softness.

They are always on special.

So you are like me and using the 58 out of the bunker ?

What is your wedge makeup ?

My 790 PW is 46.

A 790 AW is 49 degrees. Not very versatile except for full shots because of the sole.

I currently have a 54 and a 58 M5.

I have a big gap.

Would a 52, 56, 60 make more sense ?

Jim Nance is worse.

You may be the only golfer in the world that thinks that.

Years ago we played in Blaine McCallastier's University of Houston tournament.

I can honestly tell you that Nance was so generous with his time, listened to everyone and told some great stories.

He visited with every group on the course and introduced himself . Very much the gentleman.

Now, Roger Clemmons is the exact opposite.

These are the straightest hitting irons that I have ever owned.

For reference, I can't hit a fade shot to save my life, but I can hook it off the planet.

I typically hit a draw with everything that move 5-10 yards. over the years I have learned to account for it.

With these 790's and MMT shafts, I have to change my aim because I can't hardly draw them at all. I just hit them straight as a string.

It kind of messes with my mind a little but I am starting to trust it.

I love the look of the 790 behind the ball and they are very solid feeling.

I have never been a TaylorMade guy before, but now I am sold on the quality.

Yes, I got to feel the Lizard Skin grips on a club recently and will be making that switch away from the golf prides soon

There sure are a lot of new grip companies popping up. The Lizards pattern look a lot like Winn. But more tacky I bet.

I am a Tour Velvet guy, but I am really liking the non cord Z Grips on my TaylorMade irons and woods.
