If I recall last time they hit New Orleans was 2005 Exciter Tour. Had to catch the subsequent tours in Houston. Will definitely be grabbing tix for this. Likely their swan song tour.

Yes, I was at the Exciter Tour show in New Orleans. Half the set list was off Exciter so it wasn’t the best show but still good. The Lakefront Arena show in 98 on the greatest hits tour was unreal.

Saw them at UNO on Music for the Masses tour, and I believe OMD opened.

We went to Barts on the Lakefront afterwards and the bug-eyed singer of Cameo was there. I was rolling, and kept telling him "woid up" and doing that Clint Eastwood cowboy whistle in their song. He denied it until he climbed into a Limo to leave and pointed and laughed at me with thumbs up.

I went by setlist dot fm and it's usually reliable
I'm not saying your wrong, but the Exciter Tour was in 2001 and there's no mention of New Orleans on the Depeche Mode Tour dates wiki in 2005

Yep you're right on! Damn that's been over 20 years already. 2005 was the Touring the Angel tour where I had to start catching the Houston shows. My teenagers have grown up on DM so looking forward to sharing this tour with them too.

They put on very good show. Have seen them in Toronto and Detroit in the last 6 yrs. All good. Dave still is a good singer and frontman

Having graduated high school in 1991 I would be interested in a show. To see the crowd as much or more than the band.

Yep. Grabbed 4 tix in section 103. This is truly an 80s/90s dream schedule of shows this year. OMD is releasing a new album later this year too. Seeing OMD too would check another band off the bucket list.
