First time coming through LGA with a layover longer than 30 minutes in quite some time. Came to the Delta Skylouge. All I can say is wow. It’s massive, really nice, and well staffed. Who else has passed through here?

The new terminals at LGA are fantastic. It’s amazing that it was on par with a third world shithole airport just 4-5 years ago.

I think it was one of if not the single worst airport in a major US market before it was renovated.

Access was horrible with people getting stuck on the expressway routinely and missing flights.

I was so annoyed with the place I’d even tried flying in and out of Newark which isn’t exactly a top 5 airport either.

Just a terrible airport to deal with all around which is now very nice even if the access road issue wasn’t completely resolved as of my last visit.

My boss has been raving about it for months. He's a delta guy and lives in NYC.

I had the opportunity to fly through LGA 3 weeks ago and I will say, holy shite, that entire airport is a masterpiece compared to 5yrs ago (last time I went through).

The Centurion Lounge in the United terminal was nice, the amenities were plentiful, and it was clean as shite.

Prob the nicest domestic airport in the US at this point.

Agreed. The only downside to LGA is the lack of a good public transportation options--no body wants to switch from a train to a bus. A cab or Uber isn't bad relative to Newark or JFK, but it's nice to have a backup in case traffic is terrible.

On the new terminal note, last week I flew out of the new C terminal in Orlando and it's super nice as well. I was running late and had the kids with me, so I didn't get to stop in the Plaza Lounge that everyone seems to like.

I only fly in and out of Newark into NYC. That train to Penn Station is great.
We did do a private car from LGA last time but that was because flight was moved to lga from ewr.

I agree if New York is my final destination I always try to land at Newark. LGA is a pretty common layover for me though. For whatever reason delta loves to make me pass through LGA to get anywhere.

LGA is the biggest turnaround of any piece of American infrastructure I can think of. The only big piece they really need still is a subway stop at the aiport. It's amazing that didn't happen decades ago.

The new Amex lounge and Air Canada lounge are both very nice

Flew into LaGuardia Saturday and home from there today. It’s been quite some time since I’ve bothered with it, and it’s amazing how they have turned it around. I didn’t even recognize the place.
