I tend to get quick at the top and pull the ball. Much more on the course than the practice range.

“Slow is smooth, and smooth is fast” - swing thought.

Allow, download a metronome app and set the bpm to match your walking step. Make your swing a 2 “beat” swing.

The baseball drill. Take a normal practice back swing, the step with your lead foot to initiate down swing, ala Paddy Harrington.

Your issue isn't necessarily tempo, it would be sequence of swing and starting the downswing with your hands and not your lower body.

I would listen to classical music while I played and practiced through my ear buds. Noticed it helped my putting more than anything.

as mentioned download a metronome app on your phone. find the tempo that matches your swing and listen to it with headphones while on the range.

both my first and last name are 2 syllables so i'll say my name slow while swinging. first name on backswing and last name coming down. that tends to help as well.

I don't want to foul your system up if it works for you, but 'rogue' is only one syllable.

Good luck.
